The retained crew from Amesbury Fire Station got a rare backstage pass on Wednesday (18 March). They toured an Apache attack helicopter to grasp its size and complexity—crucial for tackling aviation emergencies.

Next came the real heat. Using a high-tech training simulator, firefighters battled a major blaze replicating a full-scale Apache fire. The exercise sharpened their skills for any real-life military aircraft incidents.
Expert Guidance and Local Military Action Keep Skills Sharp
The evening was hosted by Capita Fire and Rescue alongside the White Watch team, who offered expert tips and answered all queries.
