Hit-and-Run Horror in Croydon: Man Seriously Injured

Detectives are hunting witnesses after a hit-and-run crash left a man badly hurt in Croydon.

The Collision

Just after midnight on Wednesday, 18 March, police rushed to Rozel Terrace, Church Road, following reports of a collision. A 51-year-old man had been struck by a car that sped off without stopping.

The victim suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital, where he remains under treatment. His condition is currently unknown.

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Detective Superintendent Ryan Green said: “If you saw the collision or spotted a black Fiat 500 driving in Croydon in the early hours of 18 March, please come forward.

“We’re especially interested in dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage from the area.”
