Shocking ATM Scam at Lloyds Bank in Broad Daylight

A man in his 60s fell victim to a brazen ATM scam outside Lloyds Bank on the High Street at 12:50pm on Wednesday, 2 February 2022.

Two Suspects Caught on Camera

While withdrawing cash, the senior was allegedly attacked by two suspects who ramped up the withdrawal amount without his consent. They then snatched the cash and dashed off towards Manor Road.

  • Suspect one wore an Adidas tracksuit with white stripes and white trainers.
  • Suspect two was dressed in a black tracksuit and black trainers.

Police Plea: Help Catch These ATM Crooks

“Investigators have been checking CCTV footage and are appealing to anyone with info to get in touch,” said PC George Shokar of Medway CID.

“Drivers with dashcams and locals with private CCTV, please have a look for anything suspicious that could crack this case. Also, always double-check no one’s lurking by the ATM when entering your PIN.”
