Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Southall Hit-and-Run

Detectives are hunting for witnesses after a pedestrian was left fighting for life in a Southall hit-and-run.

The crash happened just before 6am on Sunday, 15 October at the busy junction of Uxbridge Road and Greenford Road. A man in his 40s was waiting at a bus stop when a car slammed into him, causing severe injuries. He remains in critical condition in hospital, while police support his family through this heartbreaking ordeal.

Driver Flees Scene, Police Make Arrest Nearby

The driver failed to stop after the collision, sparking a manhunt. Specialists from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are actively searching for the culprit. Meanwhile, a man believed to have been a passenger in the car was arrested close to the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He’s been released on bail pending further probes.
