Young Man Stabbed to Death in Early Morning Horror
Xhovan Pepaj, 25, was found fatally stabbed on Caley Road at 3.15am on Saturday, 4 December 2021. He suffered multiple stab wounds, police confirmed.
Seven Arrested as Murder Probe Intensifies
Following a post-mortem and family notification, cops swiftly arrested seven suspects. On Tuesday 7 December, the Crown Prosecution Service charged 18-year-old Ciaran Stewart from Hornchurch and a 17-year-old Ilford boy with murder.
Both were also hit with conspiracy to commit robbery charges. The pair appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court the next day and were remanded in custody.
More Charged Over Robbery Plot
On 8 December, three more men faced charges:
- Donte Simpson-Palmer, 18, Ilford
- Mohammed Miah, 25, Romford
- Nathan Turner, 28, Brentwood
All three were charged with conspiracy to commit robbery. Turner was additionally charged with cannabis possession with intent to supply. They are set to appear in court on 9 December.
Two Others on Bail as Investigation Continues
Police also arrested a 41-year-old man and 33-year-old woman linked to the case. Both remain on bail as inquiries carry on.
