A man has been jailed after he raped and violently assaulted a woman he had just met in a south London park
David Joseph, 31, of no fixed address, was sentenced at Inner London Crown Court on Thursday, 6 April to 12 years’ imprisonment. A group of people reportedly forced their way inside the building in Queen’s Road, Nottingham city centre. [block_2] Property inside the accommodation was damaged as a result, sometime between 11pm on 16 March 2023 and midnight on 17 March.
Around 150 young people gathered at a church as part of a police-led event to improve trust and confidence in the community
The two-hour event allowed young people aged between 16 and 25 the chance to discuss their views and experiences of the police. [block_2] The event was organised by Nottinghamshire Police, the Majority Black-Led Churches (MBLC) and the Police and Crime Commissioners Office on Sunday, 2 April at 7pm.
