Tragic Fire Claims Woman’s Life in Blackpool
Just after midnight on July 6th, emergency crews raced to a blaze raging on the top floor of a property on Hill Street, Blackpool. Thanks to quick action, several people escaped before firefighters arrived.
One Dead, Several Hurt in Early Morning Inferno
A woman in her 40s was treated at the scene but sadly died later at Blackpool Victoria Hospital. Our hearts go out to her family at this difficult time.
A man in his fifties was rushed to Wythenshawe Hospital and remains in serious but stable condition. Three others, aged 26, 13, and 16, were also hospitalised but are expected to recover. A 15-year-old escaped unharmed.
Investigation Underway as Fire Not Treated as Suspicious
Police and fire officials are probing the cause of the blaze. So far, there’s no evidence pointing to foul play.
