Chaos at Cromwell Road Junction

Three Injured Including Child in ‘Very Serious Condition’

Witnesses described tense, emotional scenes as families were urged to avoid the area.

Firefighters and Police Join Rescue Efforts

Kent Fire and Rescue Service sent three fire engines to the crash, involving two vehicles. Firefighters worked alongside police and paramedics to secure the scene and provide aid.

The car park’s entrance barriers were badly damaged, prompting local residents to demand speed cameras on nearby Tankerton Road to curb dangerous driving.

Community Reacts

Canterbury City Council, which manages the car park, said:

“Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragic incident. Officers are at the car park today to offer help and support.”

The car park reopened on Sunday morning, though investigations continue.
