Daniel Gee, who had been on the run since escaping from Kirklevington Prison in Stockton-on-Tees on May 27, has been apprehended. The successful operation took place yesterday, June 25, in Wigan, where officers from Merseyside Police detained Gee.
The search for Gee had been intense, with extensive efforts to locate him spanning several weeks. His escape had raised concerns about public safety, and authorities were determined to bring him back into custody.
