Detective Sergeant Georgina Gallagher, of Nottinghamshire Police, emphasised the seriousness of the assault, stating, “We treat all forms of knife crime with the utmost seriousness, and we are working tirelessly to find the person responsible for this attack, including trawling through CCTV footage.”

DS Gallagher further urged members of the public who may have been in the area at the time of the incident and who could possess crucial information to come forward and assist with the investigation. She specifically called upon anyone who recognises the man depicted in the released images to contact the police as soon as possible.

“If you know who he is or are the man in the picture,” DS Gallagher appealed, “we would ask you to get in touch as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information pertaining to the incident is urged to contact Nottinghamshire Police at 101, quoting incident number 593 of 9 November 2023. Alternatively, information can be shared anonymously with Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
