Stalker Jailed for Harassing Woman and Threatening to Expose Private Photo

Adrian Vaduva, 53, has been locked up after a year-long campaign of terror stalking a woman. The court heard how he stalked, threatened, and abused her relentlessly — until a jury finally convicted him.

Breaking Court Orders and Haunting Victim

Between September 16 and 30, 2025, Vaduva ignored a strict Domestic Violence Protection Order (DVPO) and shadowed the victim everywhere — from her home to work. He bombarded her with calls and messages despite the legal ban.

Nottinghamshire Police slammed Vaduva for flouting the court order meant to keep victims safe. They stressed how seriously they take such breaches and promised tough action.

Jail Time and Five-Year Restraining Order

On Friday, March 13, Nottingham Crown Court sentenced Vaduva to 11 months in prison. He was also slapped with a five-year restraining order protecting both the victim and another person connected to the case.

Police Praise Victim’s Bravery

Detective Constable David Passmore said: “Vaduva showed a complete disregard for his Domestic Violence Protection Order and continued his campaign of harassment, causing immense distress to the victim.”

“His repeated unwanted behaviour was totally unacceptable. I praise this woman’s courage for coming forward. Now Vaduva is behind bars, she can start to rebuild her life.”

“Stalking and harassment are serious crimes with devastating impacts. We urge anyone affected to contact us and speak confidentially.”
