Two young boys, aged two and three years old, have suffered serious injuries following a violent dog attack inside a property on Johnson Avenue, Prescot, this afternoon. that took place on Thursday afternoon.
The incident happened at around 4:00 PM May 1, 2025 emergency services, including Merseyside Police and the North West Ambulance Service, were called to the scene. Reports indicated that the two toddlers and an 18-year-old woman had been injured after being attacked by a dog inside the home.
Both children were taken to hospital for urgent treatment, suffering serious injuries to their arms and legs. The extent of the woman’s injuries has not yet been detailed.
Investigation Underway
Merseyside Police have confirmed that the dog involved in the attack was seized at the property. Investigations are currently ongoing to determine the breed of the dog and identify its owner.
