Two fraudsters have targeted unsuspecting victims in Doncaster, swindling them out of £2,300 by selling empty boxes disguised as iPhones and laptops. South Yorkshire Police has released CCTV images of the suspects, appealing for information from the public.
On June 7, these two men approached separate victims in Mexborough town centre, near The Original Factory Shop on Main Street. Posing as sellers, they offered iPhones and laptops. Unfortunately, the products inside the boxes were nonexistent, leaving the victims out of pocket.
