Incident 1: Man at Height Safely Secured
The first incident involved a man standing at height, prompting an urgent response from the London Fire Brigade (LFB) and Metropolitan Police. After careful coordination, emergency crews were able to safely secure the man and bring the situation to a peaceful conclusion.
A police spokesperson confirmed, “The man has been brought to safety, and we are grateful for the swift actions of the emergency teams on site.”
Incident 2: Ongoing Police Support at Peabody Estate
Simultaneously, firefighters and police attended a second, unrelated incident at the nearby Peabody Estate on Vauxhall Bridge Road. While specific details have not been disclosed, the London Fire Brigade confirmed the use of specialized equipment, including a 32-metre turntable ladder and a fire rescue unit, to assist police.
