A 19-year-old man is currently recovering in hospital following a stabbing incident that occurred in broad daylight at in Bounds Green, North London.
The Metropolitan Police were alerted to the incident at approximately 7:05 PM on Wednesday, after which officers alongside the London Ambulance Service swiftly responded. Upon arrival at the scene on Albert Road, they discovered the young victim suffering from a knife wound. According to a Metropolitan Police spokesperson, the teenager’s injuries, while serious, are not considered life-threatening.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the stabbing, and police inquiries into the circumstances of the attack are ongoing. The incident has heightened concerns in the community, occurring just a day after another violent episode in London that claimed the life of 15-year-old Pharrell Garcia in Hackney. This marked the second youth-related violent death in London in less than 48 hours, following the shooting of Rene Graham at a family event in Ladbroke Grove.
Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the Bounds Green stabbing to come forward. Witnesses or individuals with any relevant details are encouraged to contact the police at 101, quoting CAD 6941/24Jul.
