A murder investigation has been launched after a woman in her 40s was shot dead at the Three Horseshoes pub in Knockholt, Sevenoaks, on Valentine’s Night (February 14, 2025).

Police Called to “Serious Incident”

Kent Police were alerted at 7:02 PM to reports of a disturbance at the Three Horseshoes pub on Main Road, Knockholt.

Emergency responders, including South East Coast Ambulance Service, attended the scene, where they found the victim suffering from injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of paramedics and bystanders, she was declared deceased at the scene.

Her next of kin has been informed, and specialist officers are supporting her family.

Key Developments in the Investigation

As part of their ongoing inquiries, officers attended the Dartford Crossing, where they recovered a vehicle linked to the incident, as well as a firearm.

Detectives are now conducting ballistics testing to confirm whether the weapon recovered is the same firearm used in the attack.

Suspect Still at Large

Police have not yet confirmed whether the shooter has been identified, but they are actively working to locate all persons potentially involved.

A manhunt remains underway, with authorities urging anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts to come forward.
