Police Van Crashes Into Car Racing to Emergency in Crook Log
A police van speeding to an emergency slammed headfirst into a car in Crook Log just before 9.30am this morning, March 31.
Driver and Four Officers Rushed to Hospital
Emergency crews were on the scene fast. The driver of the car, a man in his 70s, was hospitalised as a precaution. Luckily, his injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
All four officers inside the police van were also taken to hospital. Their current conditions have not yet been confirmed.
Road Closures Cleared as Crash Probe Continues
Authorities shut both directions on Crook Log and The Broadway during the emergency response. The roads have now reopened, but investigations into the collision are ongoing.
No arrests have been made so far. More details are expected as police continue their inquiries.
