Chaos at Baton Rouge Mall: 10 Hurt in Shocking Shooting Spree
Ten people have been injured after gunfire erupted inside the bustling Mall of Louisiana in Baton Rouge on Thursday afternoon. Police confirmed the suspects fled the scene and remain at large.
Gunfire Erupts Near Food Court
Officers rushed to the mall at around 1.22pm local time following reports of a shooting near the food court. Baton Rouge Police Chief Thomas Morse Jr revealed the attack was no random act. Surveillance footage shows the violence stemmed from a heated argument between two groups that spiralled into a fierce exchange of gunfire.
“Unfortunately, there were some innocent people in the area that might have also been hurt,” Chief Morse said.
Victims Rushed to Hospital, Suspects Still on the Run
