West Midlands Police have charged a man with murder following a brutal street attack in Birmingham. The victim, 27-year-old Adisu Chala, was found seriously injured on Mott Street just after midnight on Monday 20 April. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Family Pays Heartbreaking Tribute to “Much-Loved” Son
Adisu’s family described him as “the youngest member of our family, deeply loved and cherished by all of us.” They honoured him as a “kind, respectful, and valued person” whose “presence touched the lives of many.”
“He will be remembered for his generosity, warmth, sense of humour, dedication, and for the way he cared for those around him. He was more than the circumstances of his passing. He was a son, a brother, an uncle, a friend, someone who brought light into the lives of others,” “His absence leaves a profound void that cannot be filled. Suspect Remanded in Court
The homicide investigation swiftly identified a suspect. Momodou Johm, 39, from Bristol, has been charged with Adisu’s murder. He appeared before Birmingham magistrates on 23 April and has been remanded in custody.
