Two Men Turn Up After Alleged Shooting
Just after midnight, two men showed up at Heartlands Hospital claiming they had been caught up in a nearby shooting. Ambulance crews were immediately scrambled to the scene, joined by a MERIT trauma doctor and a critical care paramedic.
Tragic Fight to Save Life Ends in Death
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman revealed, “On arrival, we found two men. The first man had life-threatening injuries and was given advanced life support by ambulance personnel.” Despite frantic efforts, he was sadly declared dead at the scene.
Second Victim Survives with Minor Injuries
The second man suffered less serious wounds and was swiftly assessed and treated by ambulance crews. He was then rushed to hospital for further examination and care.
