Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for assistance after a woman in her 60s had her purse stolen by a pickpocket in Nottingham city centre. The incident occurred on Bridlesmith Walk when the thief approached the victim from behind and snatched her purse from a shopping bag.
Since the incident on April 3, officers have pursued several lines of inquiry. Now, they are seeking the public’s help in identifying the man captured in surveillance images. PCSO William Francis emphasised the seriousness of the incident, stating, “This was a very upsetting experience for the victim, and we are determined to find the person responsible.”
