Six Fire Engines Rush to Scene
Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters scrambled to tackle a blaze at a shop with flats above on Wood Street in Walthamstow.
Fire Hits First Floor and Ground Floor
The blaze affected part of the first floor and a small section of the ground floor.
Rapid Response Brings Fire Under Control
Emergency services were called at 12:15pm and had the fire under control by 1:26pm.
Cause Under Investigation
The London Fire Brigade confirmed the cause of the fire is now being investigated.
