British Transport Police (BTP) have released CCTV images of individuals they believe may have vital information concerning an attempted robbery that occurred on Tuesday, September 19, at Birmingham Snow Hill Railway Station.
The incident unfolded at approximately 17.40 BST. when a 71-year-old man was walking through the station. At that moment, an unknown assailant attempted to distract the elderly gentleman before forcefully grabbing his wrist in an apparent effort to steal his wristwatch.
Shockingly, two other men swiftly joined the initial attacker, and together, they restrained the victim while attempting to pilfer both his bag and wristwatch. In the face of this frightening ordeal, the victim bravely shouted for help. This prompted the three suspects to hastily flee in the direction of the station’s entrance.
The British Transport Police are now seeking the assistance of the public in identifying the individuals captured in the released CCTV images. These individuals are believed to possess vital information that could significantly aid in the ongoing investigation.
Anyone who recognises these individuals or possesses information related to this incident is strongly urged to come forward and assist law enforcement in their efforts to bring the suspects to justice.
