Shocking Wristwatch Snatch Attempt at Birmingham Snow Hill Station
British Transport Police have released CCTV images after a brazen attempted robbery at Birmingham Snow Hill Railway Station last Tuesday.
Elderly Man Targeted in Bold Grab
At around 5.40pm on 19th September, a 71-year-old man was walking through the station when an unknown assailant tried to distract him. Without warning, the attacker forcefully grabbed the victim’s wrist, aiming to snatch his wristwatch.
Gang Swarm to Take Part
Shockingly, two more men quickly joined the first, and the trio fled towards the station entrance together. The gang’s swift escape left the victim shaken but unharmed.
Police Seek Public’s Help to ID Suspects
The British Transport Police are now on the hunt for these suspects and have released CCTV images hoping the public can help ID them. They believe anyone with information could significantly boost the ongoing investigation.
