Fourth Man Busted in Southsea Firearms Investigation

A fourth suspect has been arrested over a shocking firearms incident in Southsea that left a 21-year-old man shot in the leg.

The violent episode unfolded at a Hudson Road address around 5.15am on Sunday, 3 February. The victim was rushed to hospital and remains in stable condition after sustaining a gunshot wound to his leg.

London Men Under the Microscope

Since the shooting, four men from London have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The latest arrest came on Wednesday 13 February with a 20-year-old man held but later released under investigation. The other three suspects – aged 24, 25, and 21 – were also released but remain part of the ongoing probe.

Police Promise More Answers

“Our detectives are working hard to find out exactly what happened that morning,”

said Chief Inspector Rob Mitchell. He stressed the shooting was “an isolated incident with no wider risk to the community.”
