Swanscombe Chaos: Road Collapses After Cliff Gives Way
The A226 Galley Hill Road in Swanscombe is shut between High Street and Taunton Road after part of the road caved in following a partial cliff collapse. A burst water main and damaged pavement made matters worse, tearing up the road surface.

Firefighters Rescue Commercial Building After Landslide
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue revealed specialist Technical Rescue teams rushed to the scene in Manor Way, Swanscombe. The landslide, triggered by a water leak, hit a commercial building. Fortunately, no one was hurt, and all are accounted for.
Kent Police have established a cordon, warning locals to steer clear while emergency crews manage the crisis.
