Malik Hutchinson, 21, from Highland Road, Bromley, has been sentenced to four years in prison after being convicted of multiple drug-related offences. The sentencing took place at Canterbury Crown Court following an investigation that linked Hutchinson to a drug supply network operating in Ashford and Folkestone.
Police identified telephone numbers used in May and June 2024 to send bulk messages to drug users in these areas. Investigators were able to connect these numbers to Hutchinson, who was subsequently arrested in London.
Detective Constable Martin Aird commented: “Drugs misuse and the knock-on negative effects of substance addiction, which can ripple out through communities, bring misery to people’s lives. The dealers are the root of the problem, and we are sending out a clear message to them that their criminal activities will not be tolerated.”
