Emergency crews rushed to Queens Road today at around 2:30pm after a car smashed into a lamppost and a wall.
Man Arrested After Hospital Visit
The London Ambulance Service and Fire Brigade were on the scene alongside police. One man was taken to hospital with injuries described as “neither life-threatening nor life-changing.”
He was later arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and robbery.
Road Closures Still in Effect
Police confirmed no other vehicles were involved in the crash. However, local road closures remain in place as investigations continue.
“Police were called at 14:30hrs on Saturday, 22 November to a road traffic collision in Queens Road SE15,” said a Met Police spokesperson.
“A car collided with a lamppost and a wall. No other vehicles were involved.”
