Firefighters have successfully extinguished a cornfield fire that broke out in Newlands Lane, Ramsgate, on Saturday, September 7, 2024. The fire, which began earlier in the afternoon, prompted a rapid response from Kent Fire and Rescue Service.
[block_2]At the height of the incident, four fire engines were dispatched to the scene, where crews used high-pressure hose reel jets and beaters to tackle the flames. Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
