Drivers Urged to Plan Ahead
National Highways has issued an advisory urging drivers to allow additional travel time, follow diversion signs, and check for weather-related schedule changes.
The east tunnel, which carries southbound traffic, is expected to remain open and unaffected, though delays may be experienced on connecting routes.
The maintenance works are part of ongoing infrastructure improvements aimed at keeping the crossing safe and operational amid heavy daily traffic volumes.
