Person Struck by Train at Piccadilly Circus Sparks Major Emergency
A major emergency response was launched this afternoon after a person was reported trapped under a train at Piccadilly Circus Underground Station on the northbound Bakerloo line.
The shocking incident happened around 1:55pm on Tuesday, 10th June 2025. London Underground staff, British Transport Police, London Ambulance Service, and fire crews rushed to the scene immediately.

Services on a stretch of the Bakerloo line have been suspended while emergency teams work on site. Commuters face severe delays and are urged to use alternative routes.
Transport for London (TfL) confirmed:
“Due to a person under a train at Piccadilly Circus, there is currently no service on the northbound Bakerloo line between Embankment and Oxford Circus. Tickets are being accepted on local bus services.”
