Family Mourns 14-Year-Old Joshua Travis After Railway Tragedy

The tragic death of 14-year-old Joshua Travis has left his family heartbroken. Joshua passed away on Wednesday evening after being struck on the railway line in Burton Joyce, Nottinghamshire.

Heartbreaking Incident on the Tracks

British Transport Police were called to the scene shortly after 7pm on 26 November following reports of a casualty on the tracks. Paramedics rushed to help, but Joshua was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Police have confirmed the incident is not being treated as suspicious.

Family Pays Emotional Tribute

“Josh was a lad with an incredible energy for life, an infectious and mischievous smile, kind sparkling eyes, and so much love to give.

“He leaves a gap in our lives that is and will always be impossible to fill, and we will miss him forever.”

The family has also shared a photo of Joshua, remembering him fondly as they come to terms with this devastating loss. They have asked for privacy during this difficult time.
