Further arrest made after Wokingham Stabbing
Officers investigating a stabbing in Wokingham last month have made a further arrest in connection with the incident. A 21-year-old man from Bracknell was arrested on Wednesday (15/5) on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. The arrest is in connection with an incident outside The Station Tap public 1 in Station Road, on 1 April, when a man aged in his twenties suffered serious injuries. The victim has subsequently been discharged from hospital. The arrested man has been released on police bail until 12 June. A 17-year-old boy from Richmond-upon-Thames was charged with one count of causing grievous bodily harm with intent in connection with the incident on Friday 19 April. He is due to appear at Reading Crown Court on Tuesday (28/5). An 18-year-old man from Farnborough, Hampshire”>Hampshire, who was arrested in connection with the incident on 1 April, has been released without charge.
