The family of 88-year-old Patricia Simmons have paid a heartfelt tribute following her tragic death in a crash on the A392 near Newquay.

Tragic Collision on A392

Patricia Simmons, from Higher Fraddon, was involved in a collision on the morning of Wednesday, 26 November. The crash, which happened around 9:50am at White Acres, involved her red Ford Fiesta and a yellow JCB tractor.

Emergency services airlifted Mrs Simmons to Derriford Hospital, but she sadly died the next day from her injuries.

Family Mourns Beloved Matriarch

Mrs Simmons leaves behind her husband, four children, eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

“Patricia was cherished by all. We are devastated by her loss,” the family said.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

The Roads Policing Team is urging anyone who saw the crash or has dash-cam footage to come forward. Witnesses can contact police via 101 or online, quoting reference 50250303279.
