More than a week has passed since a gun-point robbery was reported in Parsloes Park, Dagenham, and police investigations remain ongoing with no arrests made.

The alarming incident took place at around 7pm on Thursday, March 14, when victims were reportedly threatened at gunpoint within the popular public park. While no injuries were sustained during the robbery, the Metropolitan Police have confirmed that the suspects remain at large.

The robbery is believed to be one of several recent incidents reported in the park, prompting growing concern among local residents and an increased police presence in the area.

A spokesperson for the Met Police said today: “We continue to investigate a report of a gun-point robbery that occurred in Parsloes Park on 14 March. At this time, no arrests have been made. Enquiries are ongoing.”

In response to rising safety concerns, officers have stepped up foot patrols throughout the park in an effort to deter further criminal activity and reassure the community.

Residents and park users are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour. Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is asked to call police on 101, quoting reference 6489/14Mar.
