The most heart-wrenching incident involved 15-year-old Daejaun Campbell, who was found in a pool of blood on Eglinton Road, Woolwich, around 6:30pm on September 22. Daejaun was pronounced dead shortly after the attack. His death has left the local community devastated.

Tributes have been laid at the scene, including flowers, candles, and blue balloons with heartfelt messages. Friends described Daejaun as a “good guy” who “never had an issue with anyone” and a “very, very smart and well-behaved” student who loved playing basketball, football, and rugby.
Police continue to investigate all incidents, and anyone with information is urged to contact authorities.

The violent weekend serves as a stark reminder of the continuing battle against knife crime in London, with many calling for more to be done to ensure the safety of young people across the capital.
