Jamie Oliver’s Italian set to lose lease at Gun wharf Restaurant

TV chef and lovable Essex lad Jamie Oliver is set to lose the lease on his Gunwharf restaurant, We can exclusively reveal. The popular Italian opened in the Summer of 2011 in the unit formerly housing a branch of sports brand Donnay, that now looks likely to return to retail. A Gunwharf source , who asked not to be named, told UKNIP “Jamies Italian in Gunwharf is closing down. The Landlord has decided to put three retail units in that space and they have 30 days but may close sooner.” When we contacted the restaurant a spokesman said, “That is the rumour floating around but obviously I can’t say any more than that at the moment.” The restaurant will remain open for the present but is not taking Christmas bookings at this time.
