In a swift response to an emergency call, the Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) dispatched two fire engines to a flat in Priory Road, Dartford, where a kitchen fire had broken out earlier today.

The incident, which occurred at approximately 2:20 PM, is believed to have started accidentally after a pan containing cooking oil was left unattended on the stove.
