Police were scrambled to Cowley england/high-Streetstreet/”>england/high-Streetstreet/”>High Street at 12.30pm yesterday (September 26) after two men got into a violent fight.
Officers and paramedics treated a 62-year-old man at the scene, but tragically he was pronounced dead shortly after.
Suspect Arrested for Murder
A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody. No other suspects are being sought.
Police Urge Public to Help with Footage
“My team are working at pace to establish the full circumstances that led to this man’s tragic death,” said Detective Inspector Richard Kempshall.
“We urge anyone who was near Cowley High Street to check any doorbell or CCTV footage and share it with us.”
