Emergency services rushed to Maddock Way, Southwark, on Thursday afternoon after a man sustained serious injuries in a violent altercation.
Serious Injuries in Broad Daylight
At around 1.15pm on November 20, police and London Ambulance Service were called to the scene. The victim, a man in his 60s, was found with life-threatening injuries. He was swiftly taken to hospital where doctors warned his condition remains critical.
No Arrests Yet as Police Hunt Witnesses
Officers are still investigating and have made no arrests so far. A Met Police spokesperson urged the public to come forward with any information.
“It’s believed that the man was involved in an altercation prior to sustaining his injuries,” said the spokesperson. “Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting CAD 3227/20Nov or reach out anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
Anyone who saw what happened is urged to get in touch immediately to help catch those responsible.
