Man Hospitalised with Life-Changing Injuries

A man, whose age remains undisclosed, was rushed to hospital with what police called “life-changing injuries.”

British Transport Police confirmed the incident is not being treated as suspicious.

District Line Delays as Scene Cleared

The District line was partially suspended between Barking and Upminster while the man was cleared from the track.

Services ran as usual on the rest of the line, easing commuter disruption.

Official Statement from British Transport Police

“Officers were called at around 9am on Sunday (30 November) to reports of a casualty on the tracks at Dagenham East railway station. Officers responded with paramedics, and a man was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries. The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
