In a recent update, the Sheriff’s Office released a new photo of Maria and a corrected flyer with updated contact information. The flyer now includes two phone numbers – 770-503-3232 and 770-536-8812 – in addition to the emergency number 911.
The Sheriff’s Office emphasized the urgency of Maria’s safe return, stating that they have assembled a team of over two dozen local, state, and federal investigators dedicated to locating her and reuniting her with her family. They expressed gratitude for the community’s active involvement in the search and urged the public to share the updated flyer on social media platforms.
Maria Gomez-Perez was last seen at her home on May 29 around 10 a.m. Since then, concerned community members have joined the efforts to find her, with several individuals reaching out to local news outlets for additional coverage.
Despite ongoing efforts, including searches conducted by community members, law enforcement, and media outreach, Maria’s whereabouts remain unknown. The Hall County Sheriff’s Office underscored their commitment to the case, dispelling accusations of minimal effort in the search for Maria. Maria Gomez-Perez is described as 5-feet-3 inches tall, weighing between 100 and 110 pounds, with long black hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was believed to be wearing a bright blue shirt.
