More than 100 cannabis plants were uncovered during a police swoop on a property in a quiet northern Lincolnshire village.

Police Strike at Keadby Home

On Friday 28 November, Humberside Police’s Op Kinetic Intervention Team executed a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at a Station Road address in Keadby. The raid forms part of a wider probe into criminal activity linked to the property.

Officers found mature cannabis plants spread across multiple rooms. Even more alarmingly, the electricity had been dangerously bypassed to power the operation. Engineers were called in to make the property safe immediately.

Investigation Underway and Warnings Issued

A Crime Scene Investigation team attended the scene, with inquiries ongoing to track down those responsible. A police spokesperson warned: “Those involved will shortly be finding themselves in for questioning.”

Humberside Police added: “This is one of several cannabis grows uncovered in Keadby this year. We will not let up in our fight to shut down these illegal setups and bring those responsible to justice.”

The cannabis farm has been completely dismantled and all plants destroyed.
