Police Close Motorway Junction after Pedestrian is hit by a Car

Officers from Hampshire Roads Policing have closed off junction five of the M27 Eastbound near Eastleigh this evening after a person was struck by a car on the carriageway. Emergency services rushed to the scene just after 6pm. The closure remains in place for accident and collision investigation work to be carried out. Part of the A335 has also been closed restricting access to the motorwayA spokesperson for Highways England said that the matter was being investigated by the Police and he closure was likely to stay in place for some hours. A diversion route has be set up and drivers are asked to following the black hollow symbol. Than join the A27 towards Fareham at Charles Watts Way. More to Follow
