A Romanian male nurse has been slammed with a nine-year prison sentence after a Swiss
court found him guilty of multiple sexual offences, including rape, attempted rape, and coercion.
Sentence Increased and Expulsion Ordered
The
canton/">canton Valais court not only extended his prison term from eight to nine years on appeal but also ordered him to leave Switzerland for 15 years. The nurse vehemently denied all charges.
Abuses Spanned Years and Victims
The attacks took place between 2015 and 2023, often while the defendant was on hospital duty or out with victims. Prosecutors labelled him a “sexual predator” targeting numerous vulnerable women.
