Speeding Stop Uncovers Hidden Drugs
Royston Joseph Parris, 41, was pulled over by undercover cops on May 16, 2024, after they spotted him speeding through Llandaff North, Cardiff. Officers noticed Parris acting suspiciously and spotted a sandwich-sized sealed bag under his foot.
Violent Arrest and Bizarre Drug Concealment
Parris fought the officers and refused roadside drug and alcohol tests. A vehicle search uncovered a black plastic wrap containing white powder, suspected to be Class A drugs. They also found £600 in the car’s drink holder and a locked mobile phone.

But the strangest find was yet to come — a can of Monster energy drink which, when poured out, released a solid substance believed to be Class A drugs.
Digital Evidence Reveals Drug Dealing
After his arrest and release under investigation, specialist officers forensically examined Parris’s phone. They found images and messages proving involvement in wholesale heroin supply. Videos showed kilogram blocks of cocaine stamped ‘USA’, plus texts referencing ‘BIG BULKS’ and ‘BOTS’.
