Jamie George, 18, has been locked up for 45 months after being found guilty of raping and assaulting a teenage girl. The shocking crimes took place in January 2024, when George was just 16.

Horror Night at the Victim’s Home

George, formerly from Pike Lane, Kingsley, Cheshire, visited the victim’s address with her consent. After some initial sexual activity, he repeatedly pressured her for sex, which she refused. Throughout that night and into the next morning, George sexually assaulted and raped the girl—and even strangled her.

Caught and Convicted

The victim bravely reported the horrifying ordeal to a college lecturer weeks later, who passed the information to the police. During the investigation, George admitted to some consensual sexual contact but denied the rape and strangulation. However, police uncovered social media messages where he seemed to admit guilt and apologise.

Heavy Sentence and Lifetime Bans

On Wednesday, 19 November, Leicester Crown Court sentenced George to 45 months in a young offender’s institution. He was also placed on the sex offenders register for life and slapped with a lifetime restraining order, barring any contact with his victim.
