Witnesses and Dashcam Footage Sought: Serious Collision in Chatham

Witnesses and dashcam footage are sought following a serious collision in Chatham. Kent Police was called following the collision involving a small black car, and a black Vauxhall Corsa, and a pedestrian in Princes Avenue at around 3.50pm on Friday 5 January 2024. The small black car which had pulled out of Swift Crescent, did not stop and left the scene before the arrival of emergency services.

The pedestrian, a woman who had been walking her dog, was treated for serious injuries by South East Coast Ambulance Service. She was taken to hospital where she remains in a stable condition. The driver of the Corsa suffered minor injuries during the incident.
