A woman has tragically died following a road traffic collision in Cheadle, Staffordshire, on Sunday.

Responding to the emergency were three ambulances, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance from Tatenhill, and a North Staffordshire BASICS doctor.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Ambulance Service said, “When ambulance staff arrived on the scene, they found a serious collision involving three cars, with one passenger, a woman, receiving CPR from bystanders. The team of ambulance staff worked together to continue emergency care, but sadly, despite their best efforts, nothing could be done to save the woman, and she was confirmed deceased at the scene.”
The incident also involved two men and another woman, who were assessed on-site. Fortunately, their injuries were non-serious, and all three were discharged from the scene after receiving medical attention.
The collision has prompted local authorities to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
