A 44-year-old man has been charged in connection with a serious assault on Quay Street, Fareham, that took place on Monday, September 23.
At approximately 11 a.m., a 32-year-old man was attacked in the street, suffering stab wounds to his back. He sought refuge at the nearby Fareham Police Station, where he received initial medical treatment. The victim was later transported to Southampton General Hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.
